Day 2, Bamboozle 2008. Having already met all of the members of the band the night before at their signing, and then meeting caleb and kyle again earlier that day, i was already stoked at finally getting to see them live after wanting to for a little over a year. My friends and i ran over to the stage where they were to be playing at, and we found that although we got there early, there was already an enormous crowd. I had seen many people wearing FTSK shirts that weekend, but i was still flabbergasted at how big FTSK had gotten.
Needless to say, i was upset. I wanted to be up front for my first FTSK concert. I grabbed my friend Liz's hand, and she grabbed my other friend Veronica's hand. It was Liz's first time ever being at bamboozle, in addition to being her first time listening to FTSK, so i was especially eager for her to get up front and experience the amazing-ness that was their music. I pushed us up and while i was pushing us up, FTSK came on the stage.
Let's just say i was not prepared for what the crowd was going to be like. It was, in a word, crazy. While i was pushing us up, I heard my friend Liz go "THIS IS INSANE!" and i had to agree with her; there were so many circle moshes and crowdsurfers that i kept watch over her to make sure she wasn't getting hurt. I managed to get us a few heads back from the barricade, on Marc's side. Pulling Liz away from the circle mosh that was forming right next to her, i screamed the words along with everyone else.
My favorite part? When they were singing "Whoa Oh! (Me Vs. Everyone)". i captured every second of it on my camera. Before that day, it was not my favorite song on Underdog Alma Mater, but now I can't stop listening to it. The guys looked like they were having a TON of fun on stage, and when i looked back at the crowd, everyone was smiling, jumping, and just having an overall swell time. Whenever Jonathan would sing "WHOA OH!," everyone would pump their hands in the air. During the bridge, everyone waved their arms. And then, when the final chorus kicked in, EVERYONE was jumping. literally. I felt my feet leave the ground and the crowd's jumping kept me airborne. By the end of the song, my friend Liz was screaming the words along with everyone else, and i was proud.
best performance of the day? by far. [:

so, best friend and i talked on aim today. very very very awkward. about a week ago, he found out i had a crush on him and we haven't talked until today. he said that he wasn't exactly sure about how he felt about my crush, but he's been thinking about it a lot lately. and that no matter what he doesn't want us to stop being friends. and one of his friends told me that he was thinking about breaking up with his girlfriend to think stuff over. i know it might sound pretty selfish, but i hope it's true =/

ugh i start high school next week on like thursday. so not looking forward to it. it's an ~all girls school. D: but it's like right in between two all boys schools so whatevs. and lmao the only people i know there are these two girls that like hate me for some reason and my sister and her friends. should be interesting =|

so i promised an update on my graduation stuff, so here it is. this all took place from june 7 - 10.
thursday - the 8th grade dance. got all dressed up for the first time in a while. black halter dress thing that everyone kept complimenting. black heels that i could barely walk in but i wouldn't have chosen any other shoes. my mom curled my hair and bonded kind of. it was nice. put neon green eyeshadow on becausze everyone wants to be orgiginal right? was finished getting ready by 3:30, watched the HCT bands/rapper on TRL. put your fangs up gabe. scene kids make me laugh. got to nicole's house at around 4:30, everyone was there except michelle. cue the 532758236532 pictures. waited at her house for about 45 minutes, my feet were killing me and i left my flip flops in the car. michelle finally got to the house at around 5:30, way too late. got in the limo, super cramped but it was fun. got to the country club where the dance was being held 15 minutes late. all the teachers were there. walked in and started headbanging to the great escape by boys like girls with geena, jackie, kim, and brit. ate food. the cookies were fucking amazing, i couldn't get over it. i wish i brought some home because fuck damn they were good. danced all night with the girls. danced with mitchell about 5 times because he kept asking me and i didn't wanna say no. krumped with byron a few times because none of his friends wanted to dance. hilar. dance ended at around 10, we then went over to nicole's house to go night swimming for her birthday which was the next day. stayed there til one swimming and having a fun time with my friends.
friday - last day of school. late entry- went to school at around 11. wore my class shirt because this was special. turns out all of the girls decided to wear their class shirts, kinda funny so we took a picture. spent the whole day signing each other's yearbooks and just hanging out with each other. michelle brought a video camera for our video yearbook. she's planning on giving it to us in september, too far away for me. lunchtime all the girls sang the spice girls. 'if you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends.' decided that since it's the last day i would invite everyone over to my house to swim. totally fun. mostly everyone left by 8 but jackie, kim, and i decided to go walking around town to hang out. got sugarhigh off of candy and hawaiian punch. was having the best time until geena caught up with us. don't get me wrong i lvoe that girl but she's the most selfish person you will ever meet. as soon as she came she started talking about these boys from the other middle school and whether they liked her and then we ended walking past this one boys house about 10 times. jackie, kim, and i were sick of it. jackie and i had enough so we left geena and kim and had fun by ourselves. kim stayed with geena because she felt bad.
saturday - graduation. woke up at 8, took a shower, dried my hair, put on my black and white dress, curled my hair, put on makeup. was ready by 9:30. got to the church at around 10 though waiting for my family. graduation was fun. after party was fun. slept over at my cousin's house in ny. basically all that is to it.
sunday - went to roosevelt mall in ny with the cousins. fun fun. bought a necklace, bows for my hair, two tank tops, and a keychain. got home and it all went downhill. family screaming at each other, i literally walked out of the house and no one even noticed. i hate this.
so a good few days ended up rotten thanks to the family.

but y'know what
in 16 days i go to the Live Earth concert
with fall out boy and kanye west and sheryl crow and kelly clarkson and omfg so many other people.
so after i go i'll have a nice long update for all of yous~
anyways. graduation came by. so i have like 1000+ dollars.
help me figure out what to get. should i buy a digital camera, or should i save the money and wait until i have enough to buy a macbook pro?
pros of getting a digital camera:
-i really need a new camera
-i like to take a lot of pictures
-i hate borrowing my dad's camera
cons:
-i already have a camera phone, so it would be pointless to buy a digital camera right?
pros of getting a macbook pro:
-HELLO, GARAGEBAND!
-HELLO, LAPTOP!
-HELLO, WIRELESS INTERNET!
-HELLO, COMPUTER I CAN USE IN MY ROOM SO MY PARENTS DON'T HAVE THE CHANCE TO LOOK OVER MY SHOULDER LIKE THEY DO WHEN I'M AT THE DESKTOP!
cons:
-i really, really, REALLY suck when it comes to saving money. i always find something else to buy. =|

lol so it has come to my attention that i srsly suck when it comes to this LJ-ing thing.
i don't know what to write D:
uhm. i'm quite possibly going to the Amber Pacific concert on Saturday? maybe? with my friend? whytf am i talking in questions =|
uhm. my eigth grade class trip is next thursday. we're going to Rocking Horse Ranch, which is basically the coolest place ever. they teach you to waterski, they have rafting, paddleboats, horseback riding, tennis, pools, etc. it's ghetto. =]
my DARE graduation is friday. lol. i can't fucking wait.
and omg i'm like the only girl in my grade that hasn't bought a dress for the dance yet. mainly 'cause i don't want to wear one so i'm putting it off. =|
